TDR, ICE, ARC and decay methods in one field case, so the fault is measured before the crew is called.
About the instrument
Choosing a pre-location method depends on the cable and the type of fault being investigated. Share your testing requirements with CSD so we can discuss the instrument configuration and its place in your fault-location workflow.
TIAD-250P
The TIAD-250P measures how far along a cable the fault lies. It sends pulses down the cable and reads the reflections that come back, turning them into a distance on screen.
Several measuring methods live in one rugged case, so the same instrument handles low-resistance faults, high-resistance faults and intermittent ones.
TDR, ICE, ARC and decay methods in one field case, so the fault is measured before the crew is called. The final configuration, accessories and operating method should be reviewed against the actual application and site procedures.

Designed for the conditions where the measurement happens.
